We moved here almost eight years ago in 2016, and have been so grateful to be part of the Belmont community ever since.

I am a strong supporter of the override. We will be faced with severe cuts in the range of municipal and school services our town provides without the override. But an override alone will not solve the long-term fiscal challenges we must address to bring our expenditures in line with our revenues. We need to work towards bending the cost curve of municipal and school services, while increasing our commercial tax base.
